You can rent DVDs from online rental stores such as Amazon, Lovefilm and Blockbuster.

German films available at the Goethe-Institut

The Goethe-Institut in Glasgow has a lending library which holds many print and audio-visual resources for teachers, in particular teachers of German. There are German films on video and/or DVD, many of which have English subtitles. These items may be borrowed by teachers; the Institut offers school membership for the school year as well as individual membership of their library. Find out more on the Goethe-Institut website.

The Institut also offers a postal service to their members outside of Glasgow for a small fee.

French films available at the Alliance Française

The Alliance Française in Glasgow has a lending library which holds many print and audio-visual resources for teachers, in particular teachers of French. There are French films on video and/or DVD, many of which have English subtitles.
