Based on the success of the volunteer model of Scotland Reads, LTS is delighted to launch Scotland Reads Paired Reading Partners - a training model which will give all local authorities the opportunity to involve their young people in paired reading.

From 2005 to 2008, LTS worked with ProjectScotland and pilot authorities to place young volunteers aged 16-25 in schools to support the development of literacy skills through paired reading.

This manual demonstrates how to train tutors to use paired reading techniques.

Designed to be used by tutors as a tool to complement their paired reading training.

This leaflet lets parents know how they can use paired reading techniques to support their child's reading.
