Workshop C - Debating in Schools

This seminar provided an introduction to debating in schools, looking at ways in which debating can be used in classroom practice to promote active listening and talking. It highlighted ‘Debating In Schools’ materials created by the English Speaking Union.

Three teachers described their experiences of working with these highly successful and engaging resources designed to develop teacher confidence in using debating techniques.
