The education community has access to a new national online resource - the National Assessment Resource.

The National Assessment Resource has new materials available across third and fourth levels, developed by schools with the support of Learning and Teaching Scotland. Further materials for other curriculum areas are in development.

The National Assessment Resource (NAR) provides support for a single coherent assessment system through which understanding and professional practice in assessment and standards and expectations will be developed and shared.

One of the key functions of NAR is to provide a way for teachers and early years practitioners to develop a shared understanding of standards and expectations.
