ADVICE TO STUDENTS

1.It is difficult, especially at first, to correct translation from Latin into English. Latin is a very rigid language which adheres closely to rules. English, however, is very flexible and can use a variety of alternative translations. If you find difficulty because of this, you can keep your translation work for correction by your tutor.

2.Take care to study corrections carefully. To make a mistake is not so serious while your are learning new skills. Repeating the same mistakes, once identified, is serious. You can learn much from your mistakes.

3.Be sure to ask your tutor for an explanation if you do not understand why something is wrong,
