As part of the overall strategy for dissemination, and in line with the anticipated outcomes for study visits, individual teachers will be encouraged, in conjunction with their authority’s International Education co-ordinator, to:
- write articles for local or national publications
- participate in staff development events and conferences, at local and national level
- be proactive in their own establishment in developing International Education
- contribute to national discussion through Glow
LTS will:
- disseminate study visit reports through its website
- provide the Scottish Government, on an annual basis, with a report confirming numbers of staff involved, which countries were visited and by whom; and will draw the Government’s attention to key issues arising from the visits
- disseminate examples of good practice through multiple means
- on a three-yearly basis evaluate the overall effectiveness and impact of group visits undertaken, and disseminate the findings.
International Education coordinators in local authorities will have the responsibility of disseminating good practice throughout their own authority.
Members of the Reference Group will have a responsibility for dissemination within their own organisations.
