SCIPD visits - Eligibility

Who is eligible to take part?

• Qualified teachers in Scotland who are in employment in schools and/or in education authorities, who have an interest in international education, and who will normally have had at least two years’ teaching experience

• Teachers in pre-school establishments, primary and secondary schools, special units/schools, and units outwith schools providing specialised support

• Support staff in pre-school establishments, schools and authorities whose work supports the curriculum

• Promoted staff in Scottish schools who have an interest in education internationally, and wish to use the experience of a visit to develop aspects of their school

• Authority officers, where they have a specific role in CPD or in developments that have an impact upon the curriculum.

Normally, no individual will be funded on more than one occasion within a three-year period.
