The internet is a great source of information, but how do you know whether you can trust it or not?

When you do research, you do it knowing you will use information from different sources to support your findings. What you will be looking for is information that is reliable, up-to-date and impartial. This unit will give you the skills to find out more about the author of a source, their purpose and intention, and will help you to recognise bias.
