Making the web and learning materials accessible

Not everyone who accesses the internet uses the same technology. The variety of different computers, browsers and speeds of connection is incredible. Likewise, the abilities that visitors to websites have are also wide-ranging. To complement the diverse range of users' abilities, various techniques in web design have been developed, called Web Accessibility.

Accessibility is how well something can be used by someone with disabilities. Learning materials which rely on ICT are required to be accessible to users by law.
