Success For All

Success for All was a three year national project funded by the Scottish Executive Education Department. It was designed to provide guidance on setting targets for individual pupils within individualised educational programmes (IEPs), enable schools to draw on IEPs and their outcomes to set targets for improvement at a whole-school level, develop an electronic template for IEPs, and develop and disseminate supporting resources in collaboration with a number of pilot schools.

Outcomes of the project which can be accessed here include:

The Handbook of advice and guidance which addresses all aspects of setting targets and managing IEPs in line with the Manual of Good Practice for Special Educational Needs and current legislation. The Handbook originally comprised seven sections issued during the life of the project. The six print sections can be downloaded as PDF files. A full browser version of the electronic section, IEP Scotwrite, may also be accessed or downloaded via this website. The version of IEP Scotwrite hosted here has been extensively piloted at school and education authority levels and a significant number of additional features have been added.

Case studies, exemplars and archived presentation and resource materials from the series of national and regional seminars workshops and conferences held throughout Scotland. These seminars and conferences were designed to share experience, generate ideas, disseminate materials and develop good practice.
