Using ICT effectively to support and enhance learning

Individual planners and timetables

At Lilybank School in Inverclyde, pupils have individual planners and structured timetables which use a pictorial symbol communication system. This gives pupils control of the means of communication and encourages them to take more personal responsibility for organising their learning.
