21st Century Record of Achievement – Monifieth High School, Angus
This workshop demonstrated a pilot study involving a small group of support for learning pupils with literacy difficulties. Using video, still cameras and digital portfolio software pupils compile a record of their achievements, thoughts and feelings throughout the year from the beginning of S1. Collaboration and creativity are encouraged and pupils make decisions and take responsibility for problem solving. The project is based on innovative work from Queensland, Australia, where youngsters assemble evidence for their achievement and progression via digital recording.
