Narrator: These boys have chosen to use the nursery's digital microscope. Oliver: Just try that button. Elaine: Do you know what it's doing, Oliver, when you press that button? Oliver: Yes. Elaine: It's taking a photo, look. Oliver: Yes. Elaine: What are you putting under the microscope, the slide? Pupil A: The stick. Elaine: The little twig. See if you can see. Pupil A: Need to press it now? Pupil B: Yes, press. Pupil A: It might let me take a photo of the caterpillar. Elaine: Do you think it will fit underneath? Pupil B: Don't be silly.

Narrator: The boys look through the snapshot collections. Pupil B: Whose tape was it? Pupil A: Mine. Elaine: Was it really? Pupil A: Mine. Elaine: Why don't you try that just now? See if you can take each other's noses and lips. Can you lift up the microscope?

Narrator: The microscope is detachable. The boys look at Korben's hair. Other children are experimenting with the new interactive whiteboard. Elaine: Ryan, would you like to have a turn on the drawing?

Narrator: Elaine suggests trying the Teddy Bear's Picnic CD-ROM. Computer: Type your name into the empty box. Elaine: Right, so Julie, what game are you going to choose?

Computer: Move the trousers to Teddy and pick again. Move the shed to Teddy and pick again. Let's help Teddy to find the picnic. Please press F2. That means go forwards two squares. Richard moves two squares. Now teddy's stopping. Well done. That's right, this is Teddy's left arm. That's right, this is the square Teddy will stop in.
