Anne-Marie: I think it went very well, I think the children were very enthusiastic, they, they enjoyed, they enjoyed seeing the colours in the water, they enjoyed mixing them up and enjoyed getting horrible sludgey colours at the end, um, but they also enjoyed seeing the, the merging of the colours, um, and I think they very much enjoyed taking the ph.., each other's photographs and then develop, developing onto er, working with, with the computer and the docking station, printing them out.
If I was going to do it again, I think that I would maybe, I think some of the photographs the children took were maybe just of, of hands in the water and I think maybe it would be, it would be better if they had, if they had maybe stood back a bit and, and then had the actual children, and some, a couple of headless children and I think maybe I would encourage them to think more about their photograph and maybe take their time a little bit more, um, and taking the photograph so that um, we had photographs of the a.., the children actually working in, in the water, I think, I think that would probably be something else to do, something to think about.
As well as, as well as putting the photographs into the talking photograph album for the children to have access to, um, I also plan to put photographs into p.., PowerPoint presentation and the, er, ask the children again to s.., tell me about the photograph and I'll, I'll print, I'll type in the text for that, and then we, and I would put it in the hallway to show the parents, um, as they c.., as they come in, they can, they can sort of see what the children have been doing.
