Preparation: Videoconferencing in the Advanced Higher French class

As Ms Wilson does not teach the base class she has to liaise very closely with the class teacher to ensure that they are covering the same course work. She then delivers the lessons via a Tandberg 880 videoconference unit with a linked JVC visual presenter, which allows her to write notes that she can then project onto the students’ screens.
They also make use of mobile phones to maintain contact with one another in the event of any problems arising, for example a school server going down, equipment not being available, and so on.
