Introduction

Castlefield Primary School, East Kilbride

This school has been involved in a number of projects based around enterprise, music, creativity and involving the local community. The work carried out in these projects has been closely linked to the new school building, which will open in February 2007. The main aim of the projects was to encourage expressive arts development and embed it in the fabric of the new school building itself, and also to encourage creative output in the pupils, which will culminate in the official opening of the new school.
