Writing plans
In order to kick-start the project the class teacher introduced a lesson about biographical writing. This was done before the Guitar Hero game was even introduced to the class. The children discuss how this lesson engaged them and how the context of the task made them keen on drafting a plan as part of the process of completing their biography of their fantasy rock star. As a result, the class then looked at everyone’s biographies and decioded on five characters who would 'make the band’ and form the first and original line-up of Full Moon.

Carmen Jackal
Born into a family of internationally renowned musicians Carmen demonstrated an early talent for piano when mastering pieces by Mozart and Bach. Songwriting soon followed and one of her songs even featured on her father’s band’s (Grapplehook) new album.
