Sunflower for Science is an interactive resource with content covering biology, chemistry and physics. There are 350 learning assets in 22 programmes covering the three subjects. Each programme is either a simulation, or a collection of interactive animations on a particular topic.

The programmes enhance the teaching and learning of science in that:

  • they help students visualise and interact with difficult ideas in science
  • they encourage creative and investigative thinking
  • the large number and wide range of resources accommodates many teaching styles and a range of abilities.
