Glow Arts Project: Co-Create - call for proposals

Co-Create is a pioneering new initiative to bring arts education resources online for schools across Scotland through Glow. The project has been set up to explore Glow’s potential to support innovative approaches to learning and teaching through the arts.

Co-Create has the potential to enable artists, performers, writers and Scotland’s schools to work and learn together in new ways, developing practice and demonstrating the key role the arts and creativity play in supporting Curriculum for Excellence.

Through Co-Create, selected Scottish Arts Council funded arts organisations will be supported to deliver a number of ambitious demonstration projects which will trial new ways of learning and teaching.

A Call for Proposals is being launched, inviting arts organisations to submit ideas for projects involving partnerships with local authorities, teachers, learners and new media/technology companies. Successful projects will be announced in early January 2010 and projects will take place throughout the year.

Co-Create is funded through a partnership between Learning and Teaching Scotland and the Scottish Arts Council National Lottery Fund.
