The official launch of Glow took place on 28 April 2009 in Chryston High School.
Phase 1 Glow Learn training Part 2
This event took place on 22 and 23 April 2009.
Phase 2 Glow Mentor training
Training for our phase 2 Mentors took place in the EBP centre on 31 March and 1 April. Our Glow trainers, Lorna and Sat led the training for our enthusiastic new Mentors. It was a well organised event and our trainers were fantastic role models. Our new Mentors were really impressed with the Glow Meets with phase 1 Mentors and some pupils. Thanks again to Lorna, Sat and our videoconferencing stars.
Phase 1 Glow Learn training
Six of our mentors attended the Glow Learn Training event in Stirling Business Centre on 3-4 March. As usual, the training was fantastic and our mentors returned to school with great ideas for its use in the classroom.
Our first Glow Meet
Our first Glow Meet took place on 17 February with many of our Mentors and Lorna and Sat, our Glow trainers. Staff had to use the whiteboard to draw a picture and to let other staff know what they had been doing with Glow since their training. It was a very successful Glow Meet.
Glow Learn training
Our ICT Development Officers attended the Glow Learn Training in Stirling Business Centre on 12 and 13 February. Training was excellent and we loved the venue. It was great to meet and exchange ideas with staff from other authorities.
Phase 1 Glow training
Our phase 1 Mentors and ICT Development Officers attended a two-day training session in the EBP centre on 26 and 27 January. Our trainers were excellent and we all enjoyed our introduction to Glow.
Glow Development Officers
Two temporary Glow Development Officers were appointed on 15 January and started in February.
Glow Ops training
Training took place on 8 and 9 January.
