Glow in East Lothian Council

East Lothian Council is moving forward at a good speed with its rollout of Glow. Staff from the authority are beginning to become enthused with Glow and several projects are taking off. Law Primary had 5 of its classes using the Glow Meet tool just before Christmas to share a poem and wish each other Merry Christmas with everyone able to see and hear everyone else. This has allowed staff to begin to look at the possibilities of Glow and to declare that, “the sky is now clearly the limit for this wonderful resource”.

Athelstaneford, Longniddry and Pencaitland Primary Schools are also involved in a link-up with schools in Renfrewshire and East Dunbartonshire in a P1 literacy project involving the novels of Julia Donaldson. Glow Meet sessions have already taken place with more planned. Two cohorts of participants from East Lothian have also attended Glow Learn Training at Stirling Management Centre and we look forward to further use of this resource in the authority.
