Glow in Edinburgh

City of Edinburgh Council is fully embracing the rollout of Glow across the authority. Staff from the authority received their operational and mentor training in September 2009. The Council currently has ownership of its live site and a pilot with three schools is planned to run from September to November 2009. All schools across the authority will be asked to attend a one-day operational training session. On completion of this training each school will be able to provision their staff and pupils and distribute logins. Online support will be available to all users during this initial rollout period.

An extensive training program has also been put in place and all schools will receive further training from January 2010.
