We hope the following list will explain some of the abbreviations and acronyms you may encounter in the field of Glow. If there are any others you would like us to include, please send them to us using our feedback form.
| Naace (Advancing education through ICT) | Professional association for those concerned with advancing education through the appropriate use of information and communications technology (ICT). The letters of 'Naace' no longer form an acronym that describe all of the membership. Originally the letters stood for 'National Association of Advisors for Computers in Education'. However in January 2004 it merged with MAPE, a primary community, and CEG, a secondary community, so it now has a broader membership including teachers, lecturers, consultants, inspectors and other ICT leaders. |
