Zealot

A fervent and even militant proponent of something. A person who is excessively and often intolerantly zealous, especially about a cause or religious faith.


Zoroastrianism

The religion was founded by Zarathushtra (Zoroaster in Greek; Zarthosht in India and Persia). Conservative Zoroastrians assign a date of 6000 BCE to the founding of the religion; other followers estimate 600 BCE.

It is believed to be the world's oldest monotheistic religion and the Zorastrian holy book is called the Avesta. Followers of this religions are called Zoroastrains.
