The 2010 Personal Finance Education Awards are now open!

The RBS Personal Finance Education Awards for Schools are now open to Primary schools as well as Secondary establishments. A dedicated primary category has been introduced, allowing primary schools to enter their PFE programmes. The category is open to schools and individual teachers teaching pupils of primary school age. The prizes across all categories are £1,500 for the winning school, £500 for runners-up, laptops for individual winners and iPod Shuffles for runners-up. The competition website also offers case studies from previous entrants, which are great if you are in need of some inspiration. Several Scottish Schools have enjoyed success in recent years including Musselburgh Grammar, Trinity High and Corseford School in Renfrewshire and Abercorn Secondary in Glasgow.

The deadline for entries has been extended to Friday 30 April.
