Grounds for Learning twilight sessions in the Central Belt

Grounds for Learning is running a number of training courses across Scotland over the next few months, including two twilight sessions open to primary teachers and early years practitioners from any local authority. As these sessions will probably be held in Stirling, it is anticipated that these will be of interest to teachers across the Central Belt. The courses will cost in the region of £35 +VAT and will:

  • consider the nature and importance of school grounds and outdoor learning

  • explore opportunities to deliver the curriculum outdoors, and tie into initiatives such as Eco Schools and Health Promoting Schools

  • provide practical help and advice on the process of school grounds development.
