After reading a Determined to Succeed publication, Caledonia Produce were inspired to team up with Bo’ness Acedemy to set pupils the challenge of producing a marketable product that could be supplied and sold by M&S.
Caledonia Produce worked closely with the pupils and staff using a team based approach and involving a number of departments such as Business Studies, Home Economics, PSE and Art and Design. The schools and employer worked together to devise a syllabus that would not only take forward the outcomes of Curriculum for Excellence but also deliver a project that was not only challenging but enjoyable.
