This issue of Enterprise focuses on entrepreneurial learning.

Find out how giving young people the opportunity to experience the excitement of setting up and running their own business is a fantastic way to help them develop a whole range of skills and boost their confidence, and may even sow the seed of a future successful business.

There are a range of opportunities out there including private, social and co-operative business models and this issue gives a flavour of what is happening in schools across Scotland.

This issue features:

  • John Anderson, Chief Executive of the Entrepreneurial Exchange, on why young people should consider setting up in business.
  • A case study on Giglets, who were established through the Young Enterprise Company Programme and are now a thriving PLC.
  • Find out if social enterprise activity is happening in your school without you knowing it.
  • Co-operative Education Trust highlights the benefits to schools of co-operative enterprise and you can hear the experiences of Stonelaw High School and Torridon Primary School.
  • Details of what schools are doing to celebrate our year of Homecoming and how you can put your school on the map.
