Inter-faith Report This report discusses research conducted by the UK charity, Beatbullying, which indicated that one in four young people have been bullied as a result of their faith or beliefs.
Independent Learning – Literature Review A report on a literature review aimed to explore the concept of independent learning. The aim was also to develop a detailed picture of the different aspects of independent learning and the impact on pupils. The report also defines independent learning, how schools and teachers can promote independent learning and the challenges of doing so.
Improving School Leadership Volumes 1 and 2 An overview focussing on the issues of school leadership in different countries, effects, methods, practices and the changing roles.
Implementation of 14-19 reforms: an evaluation of progress A report published by Ofsted on a new National Strategy for 14-19 year olds for career-based opportunities in England. It focusses on creating a broader range of opportunities across more fields to help more young people into work.
Growing Strong – Attitudes to Building Resilience in the Early Years The aim of this report is to understand parents' priorities when it comes to building resilience and emotional wellbeing in young children. The research involved 48 mothers with their views on self-esteem building and positive parenting courses. This report is part of the NCH's Growing Strong campaign, which aims to raise awareness about the improtance of emotional well-being, self-esteem, social skills and resilience on young people's futures.
