A Time of Opportunity: The Current Status of Sustainable Development Education in Scottish Schools
The aim of this study was to gain a snapshot of the status of Sustainable Development education in Scotland's schools in 2007. Some 122 individuals playing a wide range of roles in SDE were questioned through face-to-face or telephone interviews or by questionnaire.

Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act
Legislation passed on 1 April 2004, which places new duties on education authorities to provide for children with additional support needs. Introduces coordinated support plans (CSPs) to replace the old record of needs system, and establishes a new Additional Support Needs Tribunal for Scotland. The Act is likely to be implemented in 2005.
