Determined to Succeed: Enterprise in Education: Scottish Executive Response

This document summarises the Scottish Executive’s response to the outcomes of the review from the Education for Work and Enterprise Review Group, published at the end of 2002. The Scottish Executive accepted all 20 recommendations in ‘Determined to Succeed’, and this document takes each recommendation in turn, setting out the government’s plans.

The document explains that the government wants to work closely with the business and education communities in delivering the recommendations. It describes the government’s plans for learning and education in the following five years and beyond. It indicates an entitlement to enterprise education opportunities for primary school pupils, and a need for business, government and education to work together.
