Using ICT to support consultation with young children - Dalry Nursery School

This project involved work on two priority areas identified in the nursery school's development plan: consultation with children and use of ICT in education.

Consulting children

Dalry Nursery School in North Ayrshire works hard to involve young children in the planning process. Staff have tried to find a variety of ways to consult with the children on different issues in the playroom. This is not always easy and is time-consuming. However, the staff are convinced that it is worth the effort.

ICT in education

The nursery has also been heavily involved in the Early Years ICT Strategy, so staff try, where possible, to incorporate the use of ICT in a meaningful and useful way.
