
The Scottish Government's National Hand Hygiene Campaign was launched in January 2007 with the aim of raising awareness of the important role hand washing plays in preventing the spread of germs and reducing avoidable illness.
As part of the campaign, a children's pack has been produced, containing a range of hand washing related materials designed to help young children learn about hand hygiene.
The pack, which was developed with the help of Learning and Teaching Scotland, contains:
All of the materials are free to be copied for use by educational establishments.
Hard copies of the pack will be distributed to local authority and partner nurseries and publicly funded primary schools across Scotland.
