On Saturday 29 November 2008, Learning and Teaching Scotland's Early Years team held a very successful conference for FE lecturers involved in the delivery of early education and childcare courses. This one-day conference provided an excellent opportunity to hear about and explore Curriculum for Excellence and encouraged conversations and debate between delegates.

The event focused on:

  • updating delegates on recent developments in Curriculum for Excellence, the Early Years Framework and workforce development
  • exploring how early years settings and the early stages of primary are putting Curriculum for Excellence into action
  • enabling delegates to engage through workshop activities with Curriculum for Excellence and make connections with early education and childcare courses.

You can download the keynote presentations either as PowerPoint slides or as PDF files.
