Introduction

This multimedia resource is designed to support practitioners as they implement Curriculum for Excellence at the early level. It shares practical ideas from a variety of pre-school and primary settings.

These materials are for all practitioners working with children in pre-school settings and Primary 1 or beyond. Copies have been sent to all pre-school settings and primary schools in Scotland.

Each section offers further CPD opportunities, additional video clips, reflective questions and links to relevant documentation. The key messages and reflective questions are relevant to all practitioners working at the early level.

For each of the 10 subheadings in the implementation section, there is a related additional CPD activity. These activities are flexible and just as valuable for use by individual practitioners as by staff teams.
