Curriculum changes

The Scottish curriculum is currently going through the national review A Curriculum for Excellence with the aim of developing a streamlined curriculum for 3-18-year-olds and implementing new approaches to assessment.

The new Curriculum for Excellence guidance will eventually replace A Curriculum Framework for Children 3 to 5, and extend the approaches used in pre-school into the early years of primary.

Our section on A Curriculum for Excellence has more information on what you can do now to prepare for the transition.
