The Curriculum for Excellence Management Board have agreed that a number of papers coming before them should be made available to practitioners as 'Management Board discussion papers'. These papers will provide detailed information on current thinking on policy and implementation.
The papers are intended to provide stimulus to practitioners and planners in different parts of the system to move forward their thinking and discussion on the implementation of Curriculum for Excellence in their local context.

A discussion paper for senior managers in secondary schools setting out the ways in which the learning experience can be made coherent for learners as they progress through S1–S6.


A discussion paper for stimulating discussion about professional development in establishments and more broadly locally.
Records of the meetings of the Curriculum for Excellence Management Board and copies of the occasional papers considered by the Board.
As young people move into S4, they will continue to develop the four capacities through opportunities that reinforce their learning and skills and will start building their lifelong portfolio of qualifications.
