
The National CPD Team has convened a group to consider the developing role of the School CPD Co-ordinator and how we can support this role. The understanding that effective CPD is no longer just about courses but depends on processes of reflection, self-evaluation, collaborative learning and professional enquiry means that the roles of LA CPD Manager and School CPD Co-ordinator are changing and that schools are now recognised as key contexts for professional learning.
The group aims to spotlight interesting practice in leading and managing CPD in schools at the Scottish Learning Festival in September 2009.
