The Understanding Standards Website (USW) allows teaching professionals the opportunity to more fully understand the standards of assessment as they are applied by the SQA examination and verification teams. It will give users the opportunity to look at the principles which underpin the assessment of their subjects. They can then go on to test their understanding of these principles by marking a number of candidate responses and comparing their decisions and reasoning with those of the team.
