Registered CPD providers

What is a registered CPD provider?

The national CPD team is continuing the work of the GTCS in maintaining a register of CPD providers to Scottish education.

Registered providers have:

  • agreed to adhere to a set of principles
  • undertaken a preliminary registration process involving the provision and checking of two references
  • incorporated the features of effective CPD into their provision.

What are the benefits of becoming a registered CPD provider?

There are numerous benefits of becoming an approved provider.

  • Your organisation has the opportunity to promote your CPD opportunities to more than 80,000 educators in Scotland through the CPDFind database tool.
  • You are entitled to use the National Register logo which can be used on all your promotional materials.
