Education for citizenship consultation

A wide-ranging national consultation on Education for Citizenship was held between September 2000 and March 2001. The purpose of the consultation was to provide evidence for the Advisory Council of LT Scotland, enabling them to offer informed advice to Ministers.

There were 158 written responses and a series of seminars was held across Scotland, bringing together people from a wide range of interested agencies. In addition to the written responses, there were also a number of electronic responses, handled and analysed by a team from Napier University, and consultation with groups of young people.
