Name:	Anne Frank Awards
Sponsor:	Anne Frank Trust UK with DfES, NSPCC, Metropolitan Police, Penguin Books
Eligibility:	Individuals or groups
Focus:	All nominations to be made by young people up to 18 years old. There are a number of award categories including youth, educator, group, celebrity, community and international.
Award:	All nominees receive certificates of participation. Winners form a team of Anne Frank Ambassadors who will promote responsible citizenship.

Name:	BT Schools Awards
Sponsor:	BT, supported by The Guardian
Eligibility:	Primary and secondary schools
Focus:	All UK schools can apply for a BT Schools Award. A school's proposed project must illustrate: Good practice in citizenship Development of the skills, attitudes and experiences young people need to play their role as active and responsible citizens Development of pupils' communications skills.

Name:	Humanitarian Citizen Awards
Sponsor:	British Red Cross
Eligibility:	Young people under 25
Focus:	Recognises and celebrates young people's contribution to their communities through worthwhile activities or helping others.
Award:	All winners will receive rewards, a trophy and some will have the chance to participate in a fun and informative residential weekend.

Name:	Impetus Awards
Sponsor:	The Institute for Global Ethics UK Trust and the Citizenship Foundation.
Eligibility:	Primary and secondary schools and youth organisations.
Focus:	Aims to encourage young people throughout the UK to explore what our shared values are - and should be. The awards recognise, reward and celebrate those who have made a commitment to good practice in values-based approaches to education for citizenship or personal and social education (PSE) in the context of the Human Rights Act. Submissions must demonstrate increased awareness of shared rights and responsibilities encouragement of discussion about the underlying values of education for citizenship, PSE and the Human Rights Act. whole school/organisation involvement promotion of engagement between young people and the local community.
Award:	Certificate awarded and your work showcased locally and nationally. Funding may also be provided to commission artworks as record of special achievement.
