The first Building Bridges seminars were devised to help project teams at the outset with action planning and action research.
These seminars considered the role of formative assessment in raising attainment and achievement in literacy, explored effective classroom strategies for individual projects and offered delegates the opportunity to reflect on their own projects and those of others.
These seminars considered the nature and process of evaluation of teaching and learning, offered delegates the opportunity to reflect on the progress of their own projects and the work of others, and introduced the case study as a product of action research.
