Fortrose Academy wins European prize

Dimension, the Young Enterprise Scotland (YES) team at Fortrose Academy, has continued its impressive success story by winning the FedEx Global Impact Award at the European finals in Stockholm.

The last issue of Connected reported that Dimension took third place at the YES UK Trade Fair in March. The team went on to win the HSBC Young Enterprise Innovation Award at the UK Finals in July, before also taking Europe by storm.

Dimension’s win reflects their understanding of global trade and their recognition of environmental responsibility. The team of sixth-year pupils produced a fridge magnet and activity and story book to encourage healthy eating.
