Working with others or working alone 10

There are advantages and disadvantages to both working alone and working with others.

When you are given something to do and you have the choice to work alone or work with others, you should think about:

• the type of task
• the talents of the possible group members
• the chances of having good communication channels
• the timescale
• if the task can be broken into smaller tasks.

You should then be able to decide whether to work alone or work with others.
