National Qualifications Online - Core skills

Introducing word processing 2

In the following sections you will be asked to change the appearance of some of the text. You will have already learned how to edit and format text in the sections on databases and spreadsheets. However, it would be good to practise these skills again using a word processor.

You will be using a file called Jargon Buster for each of the exercises.

Jargon Buster was created in the word processor called AppleWorks.

You will be asked to make changes to the following text.

The final document should look like this:

You should already know what to do to make these changes. Therefore you will be given only a few words to remind you. If you need full instructions for any change, look back through the sections on databases and spreadsheets.
