Starting a program
Now that you are familiar with using the Start menu, try this exercise.
Open a program such as Paint.
- Open the Start window again.
- Move the highlight bar to All Programs.
- Click the left mouse button. A window to the right will appear.
- Move the pointer to Accessories.
- Click the left mouse button. Another menu appears to the right.
- Click on Paint from the menu.
The program Paint should now be open on your desktop.
You now know how to find and run a program using the Start menu.
