Brainstorming
Brainstorming happens when a group of people sit down and list as many ideas as possible without commenting on them. Every idea is recorded.

How to brainstorm
  1. Keep a relaxed atmosphere.
  2. Have the right size of team. 5 to 7 people is best.
  3. Choose a leader to keep things moving.
  4. State the problem clearly so that everyone knows what is being discussed.
  5. Do not allow anyone to criticise or comment on ideas.
  6. Think of as many ideas as possible.
  7. Choose someone to write down every idea – they should use a flipchart or a big piece of paper.
  8. When everyone is finished giving ideas, go through them and get rid of duplicates. If any are vague, ask for clarification.
  9. Give everyone a copy of the ideas and have another session in a few days time to discuss them.
