Information on the Internet

Anyone who has an ISP connection can use almost all of the Web pages. These pages provide information about companies' products, places to visit, famous people, world affairs, travel, sport, music, films ... in fact, almost anything you can think of. The information on most Web pages is free, and all you have to pay for is the telephone connection. But some information is only available to subscribers who pay for it.

This information has been placed on the Web by millions of different users around the world. Much of the information is useful. Some of it is very exact, detailed and informative but a lot of it can be wrong or inaccurate information. Care must therefore be taken when using information from the Web.
