Task 2 - Database Exercise Database packages are used for storing information and making easy to retrieve; the one we will be using is called Microsoft Access. We have set up a typical task for you where you will be using a database of customers to carry out searches for customers who have bought more than one bike in the last two years. The information is to be sorted by town and by date of last purchase. Now do the following: Load Access by clicking on Start, then Programs, then Microsoft Access. Access provides us with a database wizard to assist us in creating our file. These Wizard options are common to a lot of application packages and provide us with a step by step guide until our task is complete. Click on the radio button beside Database Wizard. Note: this will be slightly different in Access 2000; your tutor will help when you create a database for real.
